PAG-ASA Weather Update

In view of the 2022 Child-Friendly Local Governance Audit, the Social Protection team of DILG Nueva Ecija headed by Provincial Director Atty. Ofelio A. Tactac, Jr. capacitated the 33 LGUs of Nueva Ecija for the upcoming CY CFLGA using SCFLGA-KMS on October 25, 2022 at the Amphitheater, Old Capitol Building.

The activity was kicked start by a welcome remark given by LGOO VII Dennis A. Daquiz, Cluster I Team Leader followed by an opening message from the Executive Assistant of Provincial Government, Dr. Abraham A. Pascua.

LGOO V Vivorey S. Lapitan provided the overview of the said activity while the social protection team; LGOO V Rossella P. Edillor LGOOs II Bon Paby P. Mingua, Ma. Christina P. Casares, Nelcy V. Mendoza, and Millicent Kaye I. Velasquez discussed the indicators of the five (5) criteria of the CFLGA namely: Survival, Development, Protection, Participation, and Governance, respectively.

Afterwards, LGOO II Mingua presented the timeline of the said assessment and briefly discussed the CFLGA knowledge management system.

The Child-Friendly Local Governance Audit (CFLGA) is a mandatory audit system that assesses the LGU's performance in delivering social services and programs for child and youth welfare. Further, the Seal of Child-Friendly Local Governance (SCFLG), as a result of the audit, is used as input for the Seal of Good Local Governance (SGLG).

The activity was attended by the DILG Nueva Ecija Field Officers together with the C/MSWDOs/CFLGA Focal Persons.
