DILG Angeles City paid tribute to its hired contact tracers (CTs) on September 1, 2022 for their dedication in serving the Angeleños in need during this COVID-19 pandemic.

CD Darwin D. David spearheaded the awarding ceremony and conferred certificates of recognition and appreciation to the DILG-AC Contact Tracers. He also expressed his gratitude for their steadfast service.
The contract of the DILG-CTs ended on August 31, 2022. As of this date, there are 45 active COVID-19 cases in Angeles City.

"The pandemic is not the only problem each of us (contact tracers) has faced, but also unemployment, especially for fresh graduates like me," said CT Jonathan C. Canlas II. "DILG has provided us employment", he added.
"DILG instilled in us that we must be Matino, Mahusay at Maaasahan," said CT Shiela May G. Martin. "We have carried those values as we dedicate ourselves to helping people in need during this pandemic."
