The Inter-Agency Monitoring Team (IMT) of the Province of Pampanga conducted a final table validation on the F.Y. 2022 Local Committee against Trafficking and Violence against Women and their Children (LCAT-VAWC) Functionality Assessment on September 2, 2022 covering the accomplishment of the cities and municipalities for the year 2021.

 Aside from assessing the documents of the LGUs, the PIMT provided their inputs on how to further strengthen the LCAT-VAWCs as the primary mechanism to address Trafficking in Persons (TIP) and eliminate violence against women and their children.

Meanwhile, PD Myra Moral-Soriano expressed her appreciation to the members of the PIMT. She also emphasized the importance of the assessment as basis for policy and capacity development interventions to LGUs in combating TIP and VAWC.
