The Provincial Interagency Monitoring Task Force (PIMTF) convened for the table validation on the assessment of the year 2021 functionality of the Local Council for the Protection of Children (LCPC) of the 13 Municipalities of Zambales on July 13, 2022 at DILG Zambales Provincial Office, Iba, Zambales.

 PIMTF chaired by the DILG is composed of representatives from the Provincial Social Welfare and Development Office (PSWDO), Provincial Planning and Development Office (PPDO), Department of Education (DepEd) and President Ramon Magsaysay State University (PRMSU).

LCPC is a council organized at the provincial, city, municipal and barangay levels that serves as the umbrella organization for all children's concerns. The functionality assessment is based on the council's organizational stability, child-focused policies and plans, budget allocation and utilization, and service delivery monitoring and management for children. Said assessment is conducted yearly where the period to be assessed shall be the preceding year.
