In order to further promote and harness good governance in young leaders, the DILG NE Provincial Office led by Provincial Director Atty. Ofelio A Tactac Jr. conducted a mandatory training for the Sangguniang Kabataan on July 14, 2022. This was held to spearhead the campaign of enabling youth leaders of today in providing excellent service to their constituents.

 SKs of different cities and municipalities, primarily the treasurers and secretaries accompanied by some SK Chairmen and members of the LYDO were present during the activity.

The training also aimed to further enhance the knowledge of the youth leaders through an extensive discussion of the SK history and its salient features, planning and budgeting, reports preparation, fund utilization, adherence to the code of conduct and ethical standards, among others.
