To ensure that the implementation of projects is on schedule and adhere to prescribed standards, the Provincial LFP team set out for Apalit, Pampanga on May 13, 2022 to inspect the proposed Municipal Evacuation Center in Barangay Sampaloc. The project, which is already in phase 2 of implementation, is funded under Local Government Support Funds – Disaster Rehabilitation and Reconstruction Assistance Program (LGSF-DRRAP 2021).

Following the inspection, the team proceeded to the Municipality of Sto. Tomas to monitor four other locally funded projects in this town. These include the proposed improvement and upgrade of the Bondoc Ville Relocation Site at Brgy. Sto. Nino (Sapa) under DRRAP 2021, purchase of ambulance, and two units of multipurpose trucks.
The team also inspected the ongoing construction, upgrading and concreting of farm-to-market roads in Sto. Tomas Pampanga funded under Financial Assistance to Local Government Units (FALGU 2021). Said project also comes with installation of solar lights to provide added security in the area.
