PORAC, Pampanga - The DILG Pampanga and Barangay Pio signed a Memorandum of Agreement in their commitment to jointly maintain the cleanliness of Kamalig River through quarterly clean-up on March 29, 2021.

 The Adopt-a-River project of DILG is part of the Manila Bay Clean Up, Rehabilitation and Preservation Program (MBCURPP) of the Department which aims to encourage municipal and barangay officials to support and promote environment-friendly efforts in compliance with the Operational Plan for Manila Bay (OPMB) Coastal Strategies 2017-2022.

Present in the signing of MOA were PD Myrvi Apostol-Fabia, Hon. Hilario Dimalanta of Barangay Pio, Mr. Robert Canlas, representative of Mayor Jaime Capil, and Mr. Jacinto Morales of Ilug Kamalig Agriculture Cooperative.
