Barangays in Region III has conducted their Barangay Assemblies on October 14, 2018 pursuant to the Local Government Code and Presidential Proclamation No. 260 s. 2011. The assemblies are avenues to discuss the updates on grassroots programs and projects as well as the financial matters pertaining to the barangays.

For this semester, officials delivered their State of Barangay Address, discussed the compliance of their barangay to national laws and issuances, reported the list of barangay properties and money accountabilities, and discussed other issues pertaining to peace and order, disaster preparedness, solid waste management, among others.

The barangay officials likewise posted the schedules of their assemblies and encouraged the attendance of the general public in order to solicit their concerns or suggestions with respect to local governance.

For barangays which fail to conduct their assemblies, corresponding administrative complaints may be filed by any resident of the barangay or concerned citizens or bodies pursuant to Section 61 of the LG Code.
The Synchronized Barangay Assembly Day is conducted biannually during the last Saturday of March and second Sunday of October.
