Presidential Decree No. 1 provides that an official who meets the necessary managerial experience and other requirements of the Career Executive Service Board (CESB) and who passes the prescribed examinations for the conferment of CES eligibility shall be included in the roster of Career Executive Service Eligibles.

SUBIC BAY FREEPORT ZONE - In line with the National Government's priority program of streamlining business permitting system, DILG R3, in cooperation with the Local Government Academy (LGA), held an Orientation-Briefing cum Coaching on Regulatory Simplification for Local Government (RS4LG) on August 11-12, 2016 with participants coming from the LGUs of San Simon and Guagua, Pampanga and Olongapo City.

The League of Municipalities of the Philippines (LMP) Zambales Chapter held their 2016-2019 election of officers on August 4, 2016 at the Prime Asia Hotel, Angeles City. Witnesses during the event were DILG Provincial Director Armi V. Bactad, CESO V and LMP Representative from the National Office, Ms. Carmelita A. Tinio who attested the result of the election.

The Philippine Councilors League (PCL) Zambales Chapter held their 2016-2019 election of officers on August 5, 2016 at the Subic Peninsular Hotel, SBMA. The Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) Provincial Director Armi V. Bactad, CESO V served as the chair of the PCL COMELEC along with Secretary to the Sangguniang Panlalawigan Katherine Fan and Sangguniang Bayan Member Nelson Mayola of Masinloc, Zambales. PCL National Representative and Interim National Executive Vice President Hon. Benito J. Brizuela was also present during the activity and attested the winners of the election.

PAMPANGA - DILG Region 3 conducted CBMS Module II Training on August 8-10, 2016 at Orotel Hotel, City of San Fernando, Pampanga to 7 LGUs in the region to prepare the household data collected in the Community Based Monitoring System (CBMS) Accelerated Poverty (APP) Module I as an input to local development plan formulation. The training was participated in by the City/Municipal Planning and Development Coordinators (MPDC) and staff from the Aurora province: Baler, Dilasag, Dinalungan and Maria Aurora, Orion, Bataan and Palayan City, Nueva Ecija together with the DILG regional and provincial CBMS focal persons.
