In line with one of the Department's advocacy of promoting environment-protective LGUs, the Department of the Interior and Local Government Regional Office 3 participated in the City Wide Clean-up Day led by the City of San Fernando, Pampanga on February 1, 2017.

DILG Angeles City Director Martin Porres Moral issued an advisory to all 33 Barangay Secretaries to participate in the Orientation on the Role of the Barangay on Road Clearing and End Local Communist Armed Conflict (ELCAC). The orientation was conducted on December 29, 2020 at City Planning Development Office Conference Room.

SUBIC BAY FREEPORT ZONE – Consistent with the Department's mandate to assist local government units (LGUs) in Disaster Preparedness, the Department of the Interior and Local Government Regional Office 3 conducted the second part of the workshop on Climate and Disaster Risk Assessment (CDRA) on January 11-13, 2017 for selected LGUs from the provinces of Nueva Ecija and Tarlac.
The Consultative Meeting and Workshop for OPDS - Locally Funded Projects was conducted on January 12, 2017 at Subic Bay Travelers Hotel, Subic Bay Freeport Zone. It was participated in by the DILG - OPDS, Regional Focal Persons, Regional Accountant, MLGOOs, Provincial Focal Persons, LCEs, Municipal Accountants and Other Functionaries.
The Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) Zambales awarded a total amount of Fourteen Million Five Hundred Twenty Thousand Pesos (P14,520,000.00) to the municipalities of Palauig, San Felipe, Subic and San Marcelino on December 29, 2016 at the DILG Provincial Office, Iba, Zambales.
