JANUARY 29, 2026 – The Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) Region 3 Management convened on January 29, 2026, at the SMX Convention Center Clark for the Regional Management Conference (RMC) for the First Quarter of FY 2026. The activity aimed to set strategic directions and align regional priorities for the year, reinforcing the Department’s commitment to accountable, efficient, and people-centered governance.

Led by Regional Director Araceli A. San Jose, CESO III, the conference gathered the Regional Management Team, Provincial Directors, Cluster Team Leaders, Program Managers, Planning Officers, and Division/Section Chiefs of DILG Central Luzon. Participants reviewed performance for the previous year, discussed priority programs and targets for FY 2026, and identified key strategies to ensure strong and timely implementation across the region.

In her message, Director San Jose re-echoed the key highlights and strategic directions she shared during the Secretary’s 2026 New Year’s Call, underscoring the importance of sustaining momentum, strengthening accountability, and fostering a culture of excellence across all levels of the organization. She emphasized the need for proactive leadership and continuous improvement to ensure that regional initiatives remain aligned with national priorities and responsive to the needs of local governments and communities.

The First Quarter RMC served as a critical platform for strengthening coordination, clarifying expectations, and aligning regional and field offices with the Department’s strategic thrusts. Through open discussions and collaborative planning, the management team reaffirmed its shared responsibility in delivering responsive and high-impact programs and services. As DILG Region 3 moves forward in FY 2026, the Region stands united in its resolve to strengthen local governance and promote sustainable development across Central Luzon guided by integrity, collaboration, and a strong commitment to public service.
