DILG R-3 conducted the Pre-Retirement Information for Managers and Employees (PRIME) Program today, November 7, 2025 to orient and assist personnel who are preparing for retirement. The session was held at the DILG Regional Office III in Maimpis, City of San Fernando, Pampanga.

The PRIME Program is designed to equip prospective retirees with the necessary information, guidance, and resources to ensure a smooth and well-prepared transition from government service. The program focused on retirement benefits, financial readiness, and post-retirement planning.

Representatives from the Government Service Insurance System (GSIS) and the Philippine National Bank (PNB) served as resource speakers. They discussed the retirement benefits available under GSIS, provided financial literacy and investment guidance, and shared options to help retirees manage their finances confidently and sustainably.

During the opening remarks, ARD Jay E. Timbreza extended his appreciation to the participants for their years of dedicated public service. He emphasized that retirement marks a new opportunity for personal fulfillment, growth, and time with family, a chapter that is just as meaningful as their years in active duty. He also expressed that the Department will continue to honor and salute them, recognizing that they have been pillars of DILG Central Luzon for many years.

An open forum allowed participants to raise concerns and clarify procedures regarding documentation and retirement processing. This ensured that each attendee received direct and practical guidance relevant to their plans.

Through the PRIME Program, DILG Central Luzon continues to uphold its commitment to the welfare of its workforce by providing support at every stage of public service, including the transition into retirement.
