The Municipality of Pilar, a seven-time SGLG awardee, has officially turned on its new CCTV System, a project under FY 2024 Seal of Good Local Governance Incentive Fund (SGLGIF) — to enhance the security of the customers and employees, and to support operations monitoring at the recently-built Modern Palengke in Barangay Panilao.

The project entitled “Supply, Delivery and Installation of CCTV System at Modern Palengke, Pilar, Bataan,” is a Php 1.153 million-worth system consisting of 48 cameras and necessary equipment. It was completed and inaugurated on April 24, 2025 and June 17, 2025, respectively.

Meanwhile, DILG Bataan Provincial Director (PD) Belina T. Herman, CESO V, commended the LGU for its continuous support to the Department’s programs, especially the SGLG — the benchmark and basis for awarding SGLGIF. “We hope you will sustain being an SGLG awardee always,” said PD Herman.
