In line with the DILG's directive to strengthen the functionality of Local Committees Against Trafficking and Violence Against Women and Their Children (LCAT-VAWC), the Provincial Inter-Agency Monitoring Task Force (PIMTF) of Bataan conducted the FY 2025 LCAT-VAWC Table Validation from May 26 to June 11, 2025, covering all twelve (12) local government units (LGUs) in the province.

The activity aimed to assess the effectiveness of city and municipal LCAT-VAWC structures using the standard assessment tool prescribed under DILG Memorandum Circular No. 2023-181. The process involved the review of submitted documents, evaluation of performance indicators, and identification of areas requiring enhancement.

The PIMTF specifically evaluated the 2024 performance of City/Municipal Committees on the Protection of Children (C/MCPCs) based on four key criteria:

(a) Organizational Sustainability,

(b) Policies and Plans for Children,

(c) Budget Allocation, and

(d) Service Delivery Monitoring and Management

The initiative strengthened inter-agency collaboration in addressing VAWC and aligned assessment interpretations among partners. Validation results will guide technical assistance and policy directions for the following year, in support of DILG’s advocacy for improved local governance and protection of vulnerable sectors.
