PILAR, BATAAN – In line with the Manila Bay Clean-Up Rehabilitation and Preservation Program (MBCRPP), DILG Bataan, led by Provincial Director Belina T. Herman, CESO V, in collaboration with LGOO VI Annie Hipolito and Punong Barangay Marciano Manalo, organized a community clean-up drive in Barangay Liyang on November 16, 2024.
The activity mobilized barangay officials, tanods, Barangay Health Workers (BHWs), and volunteers to clear debris and ensure proper waste disposal in identified areas. The initiative not only improved local spaces but also raised environmental awareness among residents.
DILG Bataan remains committed to supporting Manila Bay’s rehabilitation, demonstrating that collective efforts can bring about meaningful and lasting change for both the community and the environment.
