In its continuous effort to uplift the lives of its constituents, the Municipality of Abucay, aims to update their Comprehensive Development Plan (CDP) for the years 2020-2025.
Through the initiative of MLGOO Maribel Patawaran, DILG Bataan CDP Team held an orientation on the CDP Formulation Process on May 30, 2019 at Villa Amanda Resort, Abucay, Bataan. The activity was participated by the LGU's department heads and personnel, school officials and the local PNP. Mayor Liberato Santiago, Jr. showed his full support the activity by encouraging the LGU officials and sharing his vision for the municipality.

In line with the Department's mandate to ensure transparent, accountable and participatory governance, DILG Bataan together with its Local Research Institute partner – Bataan Peninsula State University (BPSU), conducted the Citizen Satisfaction Index System (CSIS) Utilization Conference for the municipality of Bagac on May 24, 2019 at the Conference Room of Bagac Municipal Hall, Bagac, Bataan.

PG Bataan’s “The Bunker” sets Standard for LGU P4 projects

Continuous improvement on service delivery is cognizant in providing efficient and quality service to the public. The Bureau of Local Government Development (BLGD) of DILG Central Office, tasked to strengthen capacity of local government units, through capability building and performance oversight – conducted a Competency Enhancement for an Improved Internal Organization on the project "The Bunker" on May 15, 2019 at the Bataan Provincial Capitol Compound. The activity aims to further improve service delivery of BLGD personnel in assisting LGUs in the implementation of LGU-P4 projects.
