As part of the "TGIF" or "Think GAD, it's Friday" initiative, DILG Bataan took a proactive step in raising awareness about the Safe Spaces Act through the distribution of Information, Education, and Communication (IEC) materials on March 17, 2023.

Pushing forward to the Department's commitment of achieving the utmost potential of good local governance, DILG Bataan, in partnership with NAPOLCOM Region 3 conducted a capacity development activity for the local members and secretariats of the People's Law Enforcement Board (PLEB) on March 14-15, 2023 at Vista Marina Hotel and Resort, Subic Bay Freeport Zone.

To further emphasize the crucial role of barangays as the government's frontrunner in the campaign versus illegal drugs, DILG Bataan conducted the province-wide activity entitled "Strengthening Institutional Capacities of Barangay Anti-Drug Abuse Councils" (SICAP-BADAC) on March 13, 2023 via Zoom online platform.
