DILG R3 Regional Director Karl Caesar R. Rimando, CESO III graces DILG Aurora's conduct of Locally Funded Project Assessment and Calibration cum Provincial Team Conference for the month of October, on Wednesday, October 20, 2021 at the AMCO Beach Resort, Baler, Aurora.
Some former rebels and supporters from Brgy. 02 in the Municipality of Maria Aurora, on Friday, October 15, 2021, joined the Region III Regional Task Force ELCAC’s conduct of Localized Peace Engagement and Community Consultation, to signify their official withdrawal of support to the Communist Party of the Philippines-New People's Army (CPP-NPA).
The Regional Task Force to End Local Communist Armed Conflict (RTF-ELCAC) facilitated the peace activity, which followed the maximum health standard protocols, to cater to members or supporters of the communist terrorist group (CTG) who voluntarily surrendered to the government.
Kasama ng kasalukuyang administrasyon, ang Kagawaran ng Interyor at Pamahalaang Lokal o ang DILG ay Kagawaran na namamahala sa local na yunit na pamahalaan katulad ng probinsya, munisipyo at mga barangay.
Katuwang ang ibang mga ahensya, naglalayon din itong mapanatili ang kaayusan ng bansa at mapanatili ang seguridad ng mamamayan. Pinapalakas rin nito ang kahusayan ng lokal na pamahalaan sa pamamagitan ng mga kasanayan, monitoring at pagsusuri, at pagkilala sa kagalingan sa ibat ibang larangan ng lokal na pamamahala. Ito ang mga programa na may kinalaman sa Peace and Order, Anti-Drugs, Gender and Responsiveness, Violence Against Women and Children, Accountability and Transparency at Local Infrastructure.
Kaya naman ang DILG Aurora sa pangunguna ni pangunguna ng Panlalawigang Patnugot na si Atty. Ofelio A. Tactac, Jr. CESO V ay patuloy na nagbabalangkas ng mga programa na tutulong sa mga lokal na pamahalaan lalong lalo na sa mga barangay. Kaugnay nito, matagumpay na naidaos ng DILG Aurora ang paglulunsad ng Barangayan sa Aurora: Malasakit at Balangayan sa Pandemya kahapon, ika-11 ng Agosto, taong kasalukuyan.

Kaugnay ng mga kasanayan at mentorship programs na sinimulan ng Pangrehiyong Tanggapan ng Kagawaran ng Interyor at Lokal na Pamahalaan sa pakikipagtulungan sa Philippine Disaster Resilience Foundation (PDRF) noong taong 2020, ang Tanggapan ng Panlalawigang Patnugot ng Kagawaran sa Aurora sa pangunguna ni Atty. Ofelio A. Tactac, Jr. CESO V ay nagsagawa ng Public Service Continuity Planning Workshop and Formulation, noong Biyernes, ika-27 ng Agosto, 2021, 9:00 ng umaga sa AMCO Beach Resort at sa pamamagitan din ng Zoom Online Platforms.
On the 40th day of the Absalon cousins' death on a roadside explosion in Masbate City last June 07, 2021, about 300 bike enthusiasts in the Province of Aurora, along with members and officers from the AFP, PNP, People’s Organizations and Central Aurora LGUs joined the nationwide "Bike for Peace and Justice Campaign" facilitated by the DILG, on Saturday, July 17, 2021.
