The Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) Aurora, headed by OIC-PD Ener P. Cambronero, CESE, held its Provincial Team Conference (PTC) via Hybrid Learning, yesterday, September 29, 2022, at the DILG Aurora Provincial Office and via Zoom Video Teleconferencing Platform.
The team's strategies in implementing the Department's programs, projects, and activities (PPAs) for the upcoming 4th Quarter are highlighted during the Team Conference. This is to consistently identify better methods and approach to implement the Department’s programs, projects and activities (PPAs) for the last quarter of the year.
The activity served as a venue for the DILG Aurora team to tackle the updates on various PPAs such as the CFLGA, QMS, POC and ADAC, among many others.
During the team conference, LGOO II Gerald Philip DC. Esteves discussed the different schedules of reporting (quarterly, monthly, bi-weekly and weekly reports) and calibrated the status of other reports submission under Monitoring and Evaluation Section (MES), Capability Development Section (CDS), Financial and Administrative Section (FAS) for the 3rd quarter quarter 2022.
Afterwards, he presented the DILG Aurora Calendar of Activities for October 2022 for the team’s collaborative information.
POC Focal Person LGOO V Madam Cassey N. Buenaventura also provided updates on the report submissions and presented status on the DILG peace and order flagship programs under the national POC and Anti-Drug Abuse agenda.
LGOO II Clarissa Hess, on the other hand, gave status of report submissions under the Locally Funded Programs.
LGOO V Florenz Zaira Buenconsejo facilitated the Review of the Devolution Transition Plan Analytics of the eight municipalities of Aurora.
LGOO V Maricar Janice C. Perez presented the process and timeline for the 2022 Child-friendly Local Governance Audit (CFLGA) using the Seal of Child-friendly Local Governance Knowledge Management System (SCFLG-KMS). She also reiterated the DSWD-DILG JMC No. 2022-001 "Guidelines in support of the implementation of the Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipini Program (4Ps) and informed the field officers of the upcoming regional orientation on the said JMC. At the end of her presentation, she reminded the QMS process owners on the scheduled conduct of monitoring of the National Quality Management System (ISO 9001:2015) implementation in DILG Region 3.
The team conference also served as the venue for the election for the new representative of the DILG Aurora to the KBPCC wherein LGOO VII Ariel G. Espinosa won the position as Board of Director for the new term.
With its strong commitment to sustain its culture of excellence, OIC PD Cambronero congratulated the DILG Aurora team as they achieved the highest overall rating (1st Place) of DILG R3’s Monitoring and Evaluation Division Compliance Monitoring System (MEDCOMS) for the second quarter of FY 2022.
The said recognition was given during the DILG Region III's 3rd Regional Management Conference for CY 2022, on September 16, 2022 at Bendix Hotel, San Fernando, Pampanga.
MEDCOMS is an institutionalized web-based tracking system established by DILG R3’s Monitoring and Evaluation Division to maintain accurate ratings on timeliness and accuracy of reports.
He said in his message, that through the team’s progressive teamwork, he is looking forward for the office’s much efficient and timely delivery of quality public service through the effective implementation of the Department's programs towards good governance.
