The DILG Aurora supports the Barangayanihan Caravan as it addresses the identified gaps and concerns of the Retooled Community Support Program (RCSP) at Barangay Buhangin, Baler, Aurora last October 26, 2021.
Along with the Provincial Task Force ELCAC members, partner National Government Agencies including the DILG presented their respective programs for the Barangayanihan Caravan beneficiaries. One of which is the Enhanced Comprehensive Local Integration Program (ECLIP) of the DILG which is a flagship program of the President Rodrigo Duterte’s peace and order agenda. It was discussed by LGOO V Madam Cassey N. Buenaventura, representing DILG Aurora Provincial Director, Atty. Ofelio A. Tactac, Jr. CESO V.
“Mas masaya po ang pagdiriwang natin ng Pasko ngayong kasama na ninyo ang inyong mga pamilya at mahal sa buhay. Sa bagong buhay ninyo ngayon, kasama rin ninyo ang Pamahalaan na handang sumuporta sa inyo.", LGOO V Buenaventura said in her message.
Different booths from partner National Government Agancies and stakeholders were also set for livelihood, employment and medical assistance to the RSCP beneficiaries.
LGOO VI Cecilia G. Rubio, MLGOO of the Municipality of Baler was also present during the activity to assist the MTF ELCAC Baler.
