On February 6, 2026, a follow-up inspection of the newly installed streetlights was conducted by the Provincial Project Monitoring Team (PPMT), together with representatives from the Municipal Local Government Unit of Baler to ensure the quality and proper implementation of the project. Minor findings were noted and recommended to be addressed prior to the inauguration.
Nighttime travel at Aguang Bridge has become safer and more convenient with the installation of new streetlights that now brighten the area and improve visibility for motorists and pedestrians alike. The improved lighting not only enhances road safety but also provides reassurance to commuters and nearby residents who regularly pass through the bridge after dark.
The project reflects the government’s continued commitment to improving public infrastructure and promoting safer, more livable communities.
