Barangay officials and Lupong Tagapamayapa members are equipped with knowledge on updated guidelines and assessment standards regarding the CY 2026 Lupong Tagapamayapa Incentive Awards (LTIA) in an orientation conducted by the DILG Aurora on February 3, 2026, via Zoom and Facebook Live.
The program highlights the collective commitment of Aurora’s barangays to prepare for the upcoming assessment and to strengthen Katarungang Pambarangay as a grassroots mechanism for dispute resolution. In the welcome remarks, PD Ener P. Cambronero underscores the importance of the LTIA in recognizing outstanding Lupons that promote peace and justice within their communities.

LTIA focal persons share a detailed discussion on the LTIA policy guidelines, assessment criteria, timelines, award categories, and incentives for CY 2026. They also discuss the assessment criteria and minimum qualifications, particularly the requirement for Lupons to have at least ten settled cases within the assessment period to qualify for the awards. This ensures proper understanding and compliance with the standards and documentary requirements of the LTIA.
The activity concludes with an interactive question-and-answer session, allowing participants to clarify policy provisions and procedural concerns. Through this provincial orientation, DILG Aurora reaffirms its commitment to capacitating barangays and strengthening the Lupong Tagapamayapa as a vital institution in promoting peace, order, and access to justice in local communities.
