Dingalan, Aurora – December 11, 2025 — The DILG Aurora formally turned over a vehicle to the Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office (MSWDO) Local Government Unit of Dingalan, marking a significant step in strengthening the delivery of social welfare and emergency services in the municipality.

The vehicle will be used to support MSWD programs and operations, particularly in responding to emergencies, assisting vulnerable sectors, and ensuring timely delivery of basic social services to communities. It is expected to benefit 27,805 constituents, especially during disaster situations and urgent social welfare interventions.

The project is valued at ₱1,265,000 and was funded under the FY 2024 Seal of Good Local Governance Incentive Fund (SGLGIF) amounting to ₱1,153,000, with an additional ₱113,200.00 counterpart from the LGU of Dingalan. This initiative reflects the municipality’s commitment to translating good governance into concrete services for its people.

The turnover was led by DILG Aurora Provincial Director Ener P. Cambronero, CESO V, with assistance from the Provincial Project Monitoring Team members Engr. III Kenny Jean N. Iniwan and ADAS II Ricah Joy V. Serafines. Also present were MLGOO Jonnie L. Glorioso, Mayor Aurora G. Taay, Municipal Administrator Shiela H. Taay, Municipal Planning and Development Coordinator Engr. Reymond B. Domingo, and MSWDO Analiza P. Evangelista.

In his message, Director Cambronero emphasized the importance of people-centered projects, stating, “Ang bawat kilometro na tatakbuhin ng sasakyang ito ay katumbas ng paglapit ng pamahalaan sa tao. Bawat byahe nito ay magiging simbolo ng paglingap, pag-asenso, at pag-asa.” He further underscored the true measure of public service, adding, “Sa huli, ang tunay na sukatan ng tagumpay ay hindi nasusukat sa dami ng proyekto, kung hindi sa dami ng buhay na napabuti at napagaan dahil sa mga ito.”

The DILG Aurora reiterated its commitment to supporting local governments in improving service delivery, promoting accountability, and ensuring that government programs create meaningful impact at the community level.
