The DILG Provincial Project Monitoring Team (PPMT) led by Engr. III Kenny Jean N. Iniwan, with the assistance of ADAS II Ricah Joy V. Serafines, visited the Municipality of Maria Aurora on November 25, 2025. They were joined by the Municipal Engineering Office personnel, Engr. Christopher De Villa, Engr. Daniel Barcenas, and Czekinah Ellamar, to check the progress of two important infrastructure projects in the barangays of Bagtu and Diome.

The first project inspected was the construction of the two-storey health center in Barangay Bagtu. With a national funding of Php 5 million under the 2024 Support to the Barangay Development Program (SBDP), the new health station aims to serve around 864 residents. According to the latest updates, the structure has now reached 50% completion. The team noted clear improvements in the construction and appreciated the contractor for responding well to earlier recommendations. A few minor issues were still observed, but the contractor assured the team that these will be fixed as the work continues.

The team also inspected the farm-to-market road project in Barangay Diome, which is likewise funded with Php 5 million. The improved road will benefit 45 farmers by helping them transport their products more easily and safely. The project is now at 65% completion, showing visible and steady progress. During the visit, the PPMT and LPMC reminded the contractor to maintain proper standards to ensure that the road will be durable and of good quality once finished.
The DILG PPMT stressed that regular monitoring helps make sure that public funds are used properly and that the projects truly improve the lives of the people in the community.
