Maria Aurora, Aurora — The DILG Provincial Project Monitoring Team (PPMT) conducted an inspection of the construction of health stations and a farm-to-market road in Maria Aurora, Aurora. Engr. III Kenny Jean N. Iniwan and ADAS II Ricah Joy V. Serafines visited the sites on September 16, 2025, to check on the progress and documentation of projects funded under the LGSF-SBDP.
The DILG team, together with officials from the Municipal Engineering Office of the Local Government Unit of Maria Aurora, focused on three ongoing health station construction projects, all of which are making significant progress. The first phase construction of a Health Station in Barangay Diome, with a budget of Php 2.5 million, is almost complete, with a remarkable 99.02% completion rate.
Meanwhile, the Health Station in Barangay Bagtu, a larger project with a Php 5 million allocation, is in its early stages and currently stands at 15.05% completion.
A major highlight of the inspection was the first phase of the Health Station construction in Barangay Florida. This Php 2.5 million project has been successfully completed, reaching 100% as of August 16, 2025. Its completion marks a significant step forward in providing better health services to the community.
Similarly, the first phase of the Health Station in Barangay Debucao, also a Php 2.5 million project, has been validated to be 100% complete as of September 5, 2025.
The team also checked on the status of the Php 5 million Concreting of the Farm-to-Market Road in Barangay Diome. This vital project, which will improve local transport and trade for farmers, has just started and is in its "ongoing mobilization" phase.
During their visit, the team met with a representative from the contractors. They reviewed their observations and reminded them to strictly follow national standards and technical project specifications.
