Baler, Aurora – 27 Sanggunian Kabataan (SKs) municipal assessment passers were thoroughly evaluated across the four governance areas of organizational sustainability, transparency and accountability, participation, and service delivery.
The Provincial Assessment Team (PAT), composed of the DILG Aurora, Provincial Youth Development Office (PYDO), the Office of the SK Federation President, and the Aurora Youth Development Council (AYDC) Member, convened to validate the results the Seal of Good Local Governance for SK (SGLG4SK) on September 1, 2025 at the DILG Provincial Office of Aurora.
The Seal of Good Local Governance for Sangguniang Kabataan (SGLG4SK) is a performance assessment and recognition program that aims to uphold and give distinction to the remarkable performance of Sangguniang Kabataan.
SK Provincial Federation President Hon. Lloyd Alsen A. Delos Reyes opened with a message of support before the PAT members examined documents and formulated recommendations for further enhancements in the SKs’ performance.
After the evaluation, AYDC Member April Jay S. Sanggawa delivered his impression on the conduct of the activity, commending the objective technical methods of assessment used.
This was then followed by a message from the Aurora Youth and Development Officer, Benjamin A. Vidal, Jr., who underscored the significance of such an assessment for youth development and empowerment in the Province of Aurora.
To conclude the program, the assessment team signed the official results of the 2025 SGLG4SK and discussed ways forward in recognizing the Sanggunian Kabataan passers.
