
Baler, Aurora - The Provincial Enhanced Comprehensive Local Integration Program (ECLIP) Committee of Aurora convened for its 3rd quarter meeting on July 7, 2025 at the Governor's Conference Room to strengthen efforts in sustaining peace and supporting the former rebels (FRs).

The meeting tackled the current insurgency situation in the province and the updates on the ongoing implementation of ECLIP. Discussions also focused on various assistance packages to former rebels, including firearms remuneration, immediate and livelihood assistance, and the construction of halfway house. Committee members also took the opportunity to address queries and raise clarifications regarding the processing of ECLIP assistance.

In addition to these, the committee laid out plans for upcoming activities which aim to empower people's organizations composed of former rebels, and likewise discussed the schedule of ECLIP monitoring activity to ensure the sustainability of assistance provided to FRs. Such initiatives are crucial in building self-reliant communities and reinforcing the trust of FRs in the government.

Present during the meeting were key members of the committee including DILG Aurora Provincial Director Ener P. Cambronero, LGOO V Clarissa G. Hess, PSWDO Abegaiel F. Paulino, SWO III Camay Joy D. Bernardo, 2nd Lt. Jessa Mae A Naman of the 91st IB Philippine Army, Ptr. Noel C Bornales Jr. of Adventist Community Services, and Aurora PPO Provincial Director, PCol Robert L Petate. The meeting was presided over by Atty. Lyonel S. Aragon, representative of Gov. Reynante A. Tolentino.
