On March 19, 2025, the DILG Aurora Provincial Project Monitoring Team (PPMT) and the LGU Project Monitoring Committee (LPMC) carried out a progress inspection to further assess the projects that were at risk. Projects must be closely monitored, especially those that are behind schedule, to guarantee their quality, timely execution, and compliance with national standards and specifications.
The inspection team from the DILG Aurora was headed by LGOO V Gerald Philip DC. Esteves, accompanied by Engr. III Rosanna C. Hernandez and Engr. II Kenny Jean N. Iniwan, along with the LGU functionaries Engr. Raul Egargue, Engr. Manuel Q. Hernandez, Ms. Resie Ducha, and Engr. Benjohn Marasigan. The team observed that the project incurred a negative slippage of more than 15% and failed to conform with the approved plan due to the deficiency in thickness of the completed concrete pavement. They reminded the contractor’s representative of their previous commitment to catch-up with their delays, otherwise the LGU will issue a notice of contract termination.

Following the site validation, an exit conference was conducted with the municipal administrator Mr. Vincent Paladio to discuss findings, recommendations, and necessary improvements to ensure the quality and timeliness of the project.
