The Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) Zambales led by Provincial Director Armi V. Bactad conducted a two-day training for the last batch of hired contact tracers (CTs) for the Province of Zambales on November 5-6, 2020 via zoom meeting platform.

 

DILG Zambales, once again partnered with the Zambales Provincial Police Office (ZPPO), represented by PCPT Jan Reanel B. Romero, acting chief of police of Iba Municipal Police Station, and Department of Health (DOH) Zambales’ Dr. Jessie F. Fantone in providing the needed knowledge and skills to the fifty-six (56) contact tracers in fulfilling their duties and responsibilities in our fight against COVID-19.

The two-day training gave the CTs a glimpse of what to expect upon their deployment to their local government unit assignment. Provincial Director Bactad in her message said that the DILG Zambales team have been providing the needed trainings to the CTs to prepare them and be matino, mahusay at maaasahang contact tracers. She lauded the courage of these CTs in applying to be members of the Zambales Contact Tracing Team (CTT) as this job is not an easy job.
