As part of the continuing education to strengthen the capacity of DILG Zambales employees, an Orientation Workshop on News Writing was conducted last June 25, 2015 at the Provincial Office, Iba, Zambales. PD Armi V. Bactad, CESO V emphasized that the activity aims not only to hone the writing skills of all employees but as well as enable them become more effective conveyors of the quality services that the Department has been delivering.

LGOO II Kristine Joy B. Pesimo, OIC MLGOO of San Felipe who graduated with the Degree in Arts major in Mass Communication served as lecturer during the activity.

Part of the Orientation/Workshop was a discussion on the commonly used prepositions and on the basics of News Writing. A short quiz and news writing workshop were administered at the end of each topic to assess the learnings of the participants.
