In preparation for the 2024 Seal of Good Local Governance (SGLG) Assessment, the DILG Zambales conducted the SGLG Exit Conference on November 21, 2023, at Balin Sambali, Iba, Zambales—during the Provincial Development Council (PDC) Meeting.
The exit conference is aimed to update the local officials and functionaries on the result of the assessment and to focus on strategizing toward addressing the identified gaps and areas for improvement.
LGOO II Paulin Johanne L. Reyes, SGLG Provincial Focal Person discussed the 10 governance areas' initial assessment results of the Regional Validation conducted last July 6, 2023.
Provincial Director Martin Porres B. Moral, in his message, commended the Province of Zambales, including the 13 municipalities for their tireless efforts to deliver public service which resulted in an improved performance in various local governance—including the esteemed SGLG assessment.
Likewise, Governor Hermogenes E. Ebdane, Jr. delivered his commitment on behalf of the Province to further raise quality service to Zambaleños and encourage collaboration among all the Department Heads and stakeholders to get the SGLG award.
