Greetings of peace and goodwill!

The past couple of years had been very challenging for the country due to the COVID-19 pandemic.  But the year 2022 is a year of hope and optimism. This is manifested by the successful conduct of the May 2022 National and Local Elections where our Department, the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG), played a vital role in closely monitoring the local situation in Tarlac. With the advent of the new administration, a renewed hope also emerges for the Filipino people.

DILG Tarlac, also went through leadership transition as yours truly took the helm as the new Provincial Director. It is such a great honor to finally serve my home province and help ensure good governance and excellent public service to my fellow Tarlaqueños.

Peace and order and public safety have always been among the primary concerns of the Department. With the recently conducted Peace and Order Council and Anti-Drug Abuse Council assessments, we are certain that the Tarlac LGUs are not only compliant with their mandate of protecting their communities but are also a step ahead in preserving peace and security-related concerns in their localities.

The Department also values the contribution of the barangays in promoting the time-tested tradition of amicable settlement through the recent Lupong Tagapamayapa Incentives and Awards (LTIA). This is a culmination of a series of barangay assessments where each barangay were evaluated on how they fared in ensuring the proper implementation of the Katarungang Pambarangay.

As the new Provincial Director of DILG Tarlac, I have nothing but hope for the success of the Province of Tarlac.  Rest assured  that, with the support and cooperation of all our field officers, the thrusts of our Department will be diligently administered as we take the road to our mission of achieving good governance and excellent public service.

Tarlac City, Tarlac –the DILG Tarlac conducted a Provincial Roll out of the Peace and Order and Public Safety Plan Policy Compliance Monitoring System (POPS PCMS) last October 24, 2017 at Huat Chan Tea House, Tarlac City. The activity was participated in by 45 personnel from the Local Government Units of Tarlac.

The Peace and Order and Public Safety Plan Policy Compliance Monitoring System (POPSPCMS) is an on-line database and monitoring system conceptualized and developed to serve as an information structure that monitors the compliance and accomplishment of LGUs with regard to their POPS Plans.
