On January 6, 2024, all 511 barangays in the Province of Tarlac have come together to participate in the nationwide launch of the KALINISAN (Kalinga at Inisyatiba para sa Malinis na Bayan) sa Bagong Pilipinas Program, in accordance with DILG Memorandum Circular No. 001-2024. The event marks a significant step towards fostering a cleaner and more sustainable environment across the region.

The KALINISAN sa Bagong Pilipinas Program, aligned with the DILG's vision, aims to elevate public awareness and engagement in environmental responsibilities through effective waste management practices.
