Tarlac City, Tarlac – The Provincial Government of Tarlac conducted a provincial orientation for the potential passers of the 2019 Seal of Good Local Governance (SGLG) on July 31, 2019 at the old Sangguniang Panlalawigan Session Hall of the Tarlac Provincial Capitol.

The orientation aims to prepare the city and municipalities that were shortlisted by the SGLG Regional Assessment Team (RAT) last April-May 2019 for the National Validation slated on August 22-23, 2019.

Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) – Tarlac Provincial Director Belina T. Herman reminded the participants that public service should be the priority of all public servants and that the SGLG is a way to recognize the efforts of the LGUs in providing the Filipino people quality service.

SGLG Provincial Focal Person Paul Michael M. Blanco, discussed the documentary requirements, modes of verifications, and possible interview questions that the LGUs will answer during the National Assessment.

MLGOO Blanco also presented the schedule of the assessment and the members of the National Assessment Team (NAT) that are set to visit the LGUs.
