(right photo) ARD Abraham Pascua delivers his welcome message  DILG Region 3 conducted the 2013 Business Permit and Licensing System (BPLS) Assessment cum Introduction to Regulatory Simplification   Project (RSP) on November 28-29, 2013 at Royal Hotel, Angeles City. The activity was participated in by the Region’s City Business Permit and Licensing Officers (BPLOs), DTI and DILG BPLS Provincial Key Personnel.
 
The main objective of the activity is to assess the implementation of BPLS in the Region, introduce RSP to the cities and come up with the RSP diagnosis.

 

     The Central Luzon Local Resource Institutes (LRIs) participated in the Citizen Satisfaction Index System (CSIS) training conducted by the Bureau of Local Government Supervision (BLGS) on November 21-22, 2013 at Hotel Rembrandt, Quezon City.    

   The training, attended by all key personnel of LRIs from Regions 1, 3, 4B & CAR including the DILG focal persons aims to capacitate key personnel from the LRIs who shall lead the implementation of the surveys at the local level and the Regional Office representatives who shall monitor and evaluate the project implementation.

Participants doing hands-on exercises on Google Drive and LGU Database System    In line with the Department’s program outcome to strengthen internal governance in terms of Communication Systems Development and LGU Database Development, DILG R-3 initiated a One-Day Orientation and Hands-on Training on Google Cloud Computing and LGU Database System on November 19, 2013 at DILG R-3, Local Governance Regional Resource Center, City of San Fernando, Pampanga.  It was participated in by designated Provincial/City Information Technology (IT) staff regionwide and Regional Program Focal Persons from the 3 divisions.
