Engr. Rey Neo and Information System Analyst John Edzel Pamatpat of OPDS discuss the overview and application of the 1OPDS Tablet Database System, respectively.

The One-Day Orientation and Roll-out of OPDS Database System for Locally Funded Projects otherwise known as 1OPDS Tablet App was conducted in three (3) batches on November 23-25, 2016 at Bliss Hotel, Dolores, City of San Fernando, Pampanga. It was participated in by all CLGOOs/MLGOOs, Cluster Team Leaders (CTLs) and Provincial/City Focal Persons of LFPs regionwide. First batch participants were Bulacan, Pampanga, and Angeles City; second batch were Bataan and Nueva Ecija while third batch were Aurora, Tarlac, Zambales and Olongapo City.

The main objective of the orientation was to provide the field officers as the end-users of the system with the basic knowledge and skills on the installation, operation and usage of the 1OPDS Tablet App either using a tablet, laptop or desktop computer.

The "1OPDS Tablet App" has been developed by Australian Volunteers International Development (AVID) to collect information from the CLGOOs/MLGOOs about the active projects in their respective local government unit. This system intends to harmonize database on locally-funded projects (LFPs) particularly in determining their status of implementation.
