The DILG Aurora headed by OIC PD Ener P. Cambronero joined the Philippine League of Secretaries to the Sanggunian Inc. Aurora Chapter in promoting good governance through optimization of local legislation processes and operations during the conduct of their Capacity Building activity entitled "Unleashing the Potential of Legislative Staff for Optimal Local Legislative Output" on July 20, 2023 at SB Session Hall, Municipal Building, Casiguran, Aurora.

 In his message, OIC PD Cambronero expressed his delight and congratulations to the PLEASES Aurora Chapter under the leadership of SP Secretary Maria Olivia Maza for conducting the capacity building activity. "Sa mga ganitong gawain ay patuloy nating mahahasa o mapapatalas ang kapasidad ng bawat isa na magdudulot mas mahusay, matino at maaasahang serbisyo publiko," he said.

LGOO VII Ariel G. Espinosa, Cluster Team Leader, then provided an Orientation on the Local Legislative Awards (LLA) Implementation Guidelines as provided by DILG Memorandum Circular No. 2023- 092 dated July 04, 2023. LGOO VII Espinosa also discussed the award criteria, indicators, categories, assessment procedures and the improvements made from the previous LLA issuance.

The LLA is an award system that recognizes the exemplary performance of city and municipal sanggunians for legislating measures that help build the foundation of meaningful local administration and attainment of desirable socio-economic and environmental outcomes.
Also present during the activity were SP Members Hon. Lordan Roxas, Hon. Jennifer Araña. Hon. Annabelle Tangsona and DILG Casiguran MLGOO Florenz Zaira B. Buenconsejo.
