CITY OF SAN FERNANDO - Following a series of onsite table assessment to validate the MOVs submitted by Lupon contenders, the 2023 LTIA Provincial Awards Committee (PAC) spearheaded by PD Myra B. Moral-Soriano convened on April 18, 2023, to finalize the assessment results and endorse to the Regional Awards Committee the province's Most Outstanding Lupons in the province.

 This year's provincial winners are:

Brgy. Malpitic, City of San Fernando – Component City Category

Brgy. Balucuc, Apalit – 1st to 3rd class Municipality Category

Brgy. San Vicente, Sto. Tomas – 4th to 6th Class Municipalities

The search for the best performing Lupong Tagapamayapa in the province began with an initial assessment of MOVs to determine the potential provincial nominees.

Subsequently, the PAC members conducted a series of onsite table assessment on April 13 and 14, 2023 to evaluate and validate the veracity and correctness of the documents submitted through the system.

Joining PD Soriano as members of the PAC are the Office of the Provincial Prosecutor as Vice-Chair and representatives from the Regional Trial Court, Liga ng mga Barangay Pampanga Chapter and Pampanga Provincial Police Office.

This year's provincial winners namely Brgy. Malpitic, City of San Fernando and Brgy. Balucuc, Apalit, are not new in the playing field, having been adjudged previously as regional winner and regional runner-up, respectively.

They will once again make their bid to clinch the prestigious title of Best Lupon in their category at the regional level.

Meanwhile, Brgy. San Vicente, Sto. Tomas is a new entry this year, besting other Lupons in the province under the 4th to 6th class municipality category.

The LTIA is an annual search that recognizes outstanding Lupong Tagapamayapa that adequately demonstrate the ability to judiciously and expeditiously resolve cases in the grassroots level and demonstrates exemplary performance and commendable contributions in promoting Barangay Justice System or the Katarungang Pambarangay
