In preparation for the Lupong Tagapamayapa Incentive and Awards (LTIA) Assessment, the DILG Bulacan provided a refresher to its City and Municipal LGOOs on February 21, 2022 via Zoom Application.

The refresher includes the DILG Memorandum Circular No. 2016-58, the assessment criteria, awards committee and their roles and functions, program components, and indicative schedule of assessment.

Moreover, a demo on how to use the LTIA Information System (LTIA-IS) was conducted. Said system will be used on the assessment, uploading and/or encoding of LTIA documents and scores of assessed Barangays.

The LTIA was established pursuant to Section 406 (b) of the LGC of 1991 which aims to recognize and grant incentives to exemplary Lupons in the implementation of Katarungang Pambarangay, a speedy justice system with mediation structures that aims to settle conflicts or disputes within the community.

Only the highest-ranked Lupon, with a score of not lower than 90, will be qualified to compete at the National Level Final Assessment and Selection.
