In order to identify gaps and develop best practices for Local Peace and Order Councils (POC), DILG Aurora Provincial Director Atty. Ofelio A. Tactac Jr spearheaded the conduct of the 2017 Peace and Order Council 1st Level Performance Audit on October 4, 2018 at AMCO Beach Resort.

The said activity aimed to evaluate the existing programs of the POC, assess its accomplishments and determine the gaps needed in the POC program implementation. Also, the performance audit intended to recognize the Best and Innovative Practices of the Municipal Peace and Order Councils.

In his welcome remarks, PD Tactac said, "Nandito po tayo para i-assess ang ating mga peace and order councils at para po malaman kung ano pa ang puwede nating maitulong para mas maimprove pa nila ang programa nila as council".

The Provincial Audit Team is composed by DILG Provincial Director Atty. Ofelio A. Tactac Jr., Dr. Luisito G. Teh, PSSUPT PSUPT Jose Oliver Wendell Holmes S Montero IV, and PTR. Noe W. Genovea from Adventist Community Services.
