Malolos, Bulacan - One of the major deliverables of CMGP is the development of the Provincial Governance Reforms Roadmap (PGRR) of the Provincial Local Government Units (PLGUs). In relation hereto, a two-day provincial assessment and mentoring workshop on Local Road Management (LRM) and Public Financial Management (PFM) was held to prepare the PLGU in the training workshop on the formulation of the PGRR.

DILG Bulacan facilitated the conduct of the said activity/workshop on October 3-4, 2018 at Francisco Balagtas Hall, Hiyas Convention, City of Malolos, Bulacan. With the participation of CMGP focal Team from DILG Regional Office, Ms. Pamela Clavio-Galenzoga, UNDP Regional Governance Specialist and the Local Road Management Team of the Provincial Government of Bulacan.

Workshops and assessments were facilitated by Ms. Pamela Clavio-Galenzoga, UNDP Regional Governance Specialist where she presented the linkage between Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and road projects and the role of the SDGs on the formulation of the PGRR and an initial assessment on the presence of SDG indicators on the processes of the province was conducted. She also presented the PGRR outline, content and sections to orient the participants on the PGRR document.

At the end of the activity, the participants were able to assess their current situations on the seven reform areas of the PGRR by identifying their strengths, weaknesses on each of the reform area, identify the assumptions and risks for each of the reform area and come up with an action plan concerning the formulation and completion of PGRR.
