PAMPANGA – The Department of the Interior and Local Government Region III in coordination with the Bureau of Local Government Development (BLGD) and National Economic Development Authority (NEDA) Region III conducted the Workshop Dry-run on the Proposed Series of Activities relative to the Strengthening of Local Development Councils (LDCs) in Region III on August 4, 2017 at the DILG R3 Conference Room.


The activity involved the participation of the Provincial Government of Bataan, as the pilot province. It aimed to efficiently strategize and finalize the conduct of the Series of Activities on Strengthening the LDCs in order to thresh out issues and concerns, clarify roles and expected outputs of various activities.
Furthermore, the conduct of the regional level activity will be on August 10-11, 2017 at Grace Crown Hotel, Angeles City which will involve the participation of various National Government Agencies (NGAs) as partners and resource speakers along with the seven (7) Provincial Development Councils – Executive Committees, Provincial Planning and Development Coordinators and the DILG Regional and Provincial Focal Persons of Comprehensive Development Plan (CDP), Community-Based Monitoring System (CBMS) and Sustainable Development Goals (SDG).
