With the support of Mayor Doris Maniquiz-Jeresano the 2nd quarter meeting of the Local Poverty Reduction Action Team (LPRAT) of Botolan, Zambales was conducted on April 22, 2015 at the Sanggunian Bayan Session Hall. LPRAT Co-Chairperson Elsa Novo of Samahang Katutubong Poonbato presided over the three (3) hour meeting, aimed at ensuring that all members are informed and are participating in fast-tracking the access of Bottom-up Budgeting (BuB) 2015 projects from the different national government agencies (NGAs).

Highlights of the activity include the presentation of the DBM-DILG-DSWD-NAPC Joint Memorandum Circular No. 6 or Guidelines in the Implementation of the Bottom-Up Budgeting Program for FY 2015 by MLGOO Cindy C. Cagalitan; release of Php375,000 first tranche for livelihood program under Yaman Pinoy of the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) discussed by Municipal Planning and Development Coordinator (MPDC) Rodolfo L. Delos Reyes; enhancement of project proposals and deadline of submission for the Department of Agriculture (DA) BuB projects provided by MPDO and Municipal Agricultural Officer (MAO) Ramon D. Dolojan; and the updates from the Department of Health (DOH) briefing shared by Dra. Marion Sengco.

Issues and concerns of the members were also discussed and recommendations were provided by the concerned department heads. DILG Community Mobilizer Rodelio Gaviola was also present to provide assistance and encouraged CSOs and POs to get accreditation from proper authorities.
