MASA MASID is a consolidated action program of the Government, based on various laws and the pronouncement of the President himself. It could be remembered that from the first month the president has been seated millions of drug dependent individuals have surrendered themselves which has gathered different responses from the surrenders, to standardize such process and to ensure intervention the MASA MASID was formulated, said LGOOVI Imelda C. Magat.

Said program has three (3) implementation strategies including Advocacy and Education Campaigns, Information Gathering and Reporting and Community-Based Rehabilitation Program. Playing a vital role in these strategies, Interfaith Organizations, Civil Society Organizations and the MASA MASID technical Working Group, was scrupulously oriented by LGOO VI Lydia M. Baltazar of their roles and responsibilities.
