ANGELES CITY- The Councilors League of Angeles City (CLAC) in partnership with the Liga ng mga Barangay (LnB) and in coordination with the Department of the Interior and Local Government of Angeles City conducted training entitled" Federalism Towards the Equitable Distribution of Resources and Effective Delivery of Government Services Cum Raising the level of Preparedness for the Challenge Posed by Disaster as Priority Development Agenda for Barangays " on March 26-28, 2017at Venus Hotel, Baguio City.

The training aims to equip the concerned barangay officials about some of the top priorities of President Duterte's administration, wherein one is to transform our country from unitary presidential form of government to Federal.
City Director Martin Porres Moral explained the concept and importance of Federalism to the participants. He encouraged the barangay officials to pass resolution supporting federalism.

PSupt. Alfred Canlas discussed the Double Barrel Reloaded, the Anti-Illegal Drug Program of PNP, the Barangay Peacekeeping Action Team ( BPAT) and its formation and functionality to address peace, order and safety. One of the output of the seminar is to submit a resolution expressing all-out support to the Presidents Flagship Agenda on PHederalism.
