CITY OF BALANGA - The Regional Task Force to End Local Communist Armed Conflict (RTF-ELCAC) Region III conducted "RTF-ELCAC Convergence and Community Consultation" held at Camp Tolentino on August 31, 2022.

In support of the activity, ADA IV Joseph Castro of DILG Bataan discussed programs and accomplishments of the Department related to peace and development in the local community.
Present in the consultation to address the concerns of the former rebels are the line government agencies headed by RD Ma. Luisa De Guzman of NICA, together with representatives from CDA, DAR, DOLE, DSWD, DTI, TESDA and DILG.
The activity signifies the convergence of efforts among government agencies in addressing the root causes of insurgency and increase awareness on EO No. 70 in attaining inclusive and sustainable peace in the region.
