To assist the youth leaders in identifying the appropriate programs and interventions, DILG Angeles City capacitated the Sangguniang Kabataan Federation of the city on the formulation of the Comprehensive Barangay Youth Development Plan on April 27-29 at the Amco Beach Resort, Baler, Aurora.

 "Napakahalaga na kayo ay epektibong nakakapagsagawa ng Comprehensive Barangay Youth Development Plan dahil ang CBYDP ay ang magiging basehan ng inyong mga annual plan and budget," said DILG City Director Martin Porres B. Moral during his message. "Mahalaga rin na kayo ay magsagawa ng youth profiling para mas malaman ninyo ang tunay na problema ng kabataan at ang mga tamang solution at programa."

LGOO III Ladislao B. Puno III discussed the process of establishing, maintaining and updating a youth database through Katipunan ng Kabataan (KK) Profiling as per DILG Memorandum Circular No. 2022-033 in order to provide a process of transparent and accountable data gathering and standardize the procedure.

LGOO V Vincent E. Catacutan explained the process of crafting CBYDP and identification and prioritization of youth development and empowerment programs, projects and activities in alignment with the higher governmental plans, in compliance with the pertinent laws and policies, and in consideration of the actual needs and concerns of the KK.

"Gusto kong ipaabot kung gaano kaimportante ang responsibilidad ng mga SK sa pagsasagawa ng plano para sa kabataan para maisagawa ang ating mga program at target para sa ating mga barangay," said SK Federation President Arnoah Prince DG. Mandani. "I believe po na lahat ng mga SK ay may will to help at vision and mission para sa mga kabataan."

As the output of the 3-day training, the DILG-AC enjoined all the SKs to submit their respective CBYDP for the calendar years 2023-2025.
