Upon the halt of the siren, they proceeded to the designated evacuation area of the office. Through the leadership of Provincial Director Belina T. Herman, CESO V, Monitoring and Evaluation Section (MES) Head Mon Alven A. Lagonilla lead the activity with a briefer to make the participants familiar with the exercise.

A debriefing was also conducted to identify problems encountered during the drill and how this can be corrected in future earthquake drills.

To conclude, MES Head Lagonilla shared that an earthquake drill must be done regularly for the exercise to be effective. As the cost of disasters has already been enormous, we can prevent tragedy in the time to come by adequate preparation.
