DILG Bulacan Provincial Office conducted an Orientation-Workshop on the Capacity Development Agenda Formulation for the Provincial Government, Cities, and Municipalities on September 15-17, 2021 through Zoom Meeting Application.

 The said meeting was conducted in preparation for the Full Devolution of certain functions of the Executive branch to local governments. Moreover, it aims to familiarize local government units with the step-by-step process in formulating the capacity development agenda.

"'Yung CapDev Agenda, dito po natin makikita 'yung ating mga pangangailangan pa to implement the identified devolved functions", said DILG Provincial Director Darwin D. David in his opening message.

The 3-day activity has covered 10 sessions with a combination of different topics and practical workshops. The topics highlighted and comprehensively discussed processes and tools in the formulation of Capacity Development Agenda.

The Capacity Development Agenda is a 3-year plan and is a vital tool that guides the LGUs in achieving their desired results through identification of capacity gaps interventions.

LGOO VI Carla Marie Turla put emphasis in the application of all the learnings from the activity particularly in formulating an effective and comprehensive Capacity Development Agenda. This, according to her will also be useful in the crafting of their Devolution Transition Plans.

Present during the activity were the capacity development committee of all Bulacan LGUs, including the Provincial Government.
