As a part of the continuing education program for barangay tanods, DILG Angeles City facilitated the conduct of the Online Roll-out of the Barangay Tanod Skills Enhancement (BTSE) Training on September 1-4, 2021 via online platform Zoom Application.

 CD Martin Porres B. Moral emphasized the timing and importance of this training considering everyone's continuous battle against COVID-19. In his message, CD Moral emphasized the need to further increase the knowledge and help develop the skills of barangay tanods in order to all the more excel in public service. "With today's discussion I hope lahat po tayo ay madagdagan ang kaalaman, kasanayan at mapahusay pa ang ating mga magagandang pag-uugali at asal para sa ikauunlad ng ating barangay" CD Moral said.

PCol Rommel S Batangan was happy that DILG Angeles City conducted the training because it was indeed very timely. "Kami po sa hanay ng Kapulisan ay nagpapasalamat sa pamunuan ng DILG Angeles City dahil sa ganitong training na makakatulong sa mga barangay lalu na sa barangay tanod na mapataas pa ang kanilang kaalaman, kakayahan at kagandahan ugali sa pagreresponde o pagpapatupad ng mga polisiya ng national Government, City at barangay level. Makakaasa po kayo na kami po ay inyong kakampi para sa ikakabuti ng ating barangay at pagpapanatili ng katahimikan at kaayusan", PCol Batangan said.

Modules in this training include The Profile of a Barangay Tanod, Gender-Sensitive, Child-Friendly, and IP-Relevant Barangay Tanod, Barangay Tanod as First Responder, and Barangay Tanod in Operation.
Personnel from Angeles City Police Office, Commission on Human Right Region III and DILG Angeles City served as resource speakers during the 4-day training.
